Teething

Teething

After posting what a happy baby you are you then proceeded to scream on and off the rest of the afternoon, seperated only by peroids of fussiness. I can feel something different in your top gum so hopefully something is happening there. You screamed through supper so after supper Heather and I took a walk before Bible Study and you finally fell asleep in the sling and slept through Bible Study! I was scared you wouldn't sleep well last night but you did and you're now still asleep (after waking up at 6:30 and 7:30 to eat!).

5 Months

I can’t believe it’s been 5 months since you came into the world and joined our family. In some ways it seems like just yesterday and in other ways it seems like you’ve always been here. Well at 5 months you’re getting to be quite a character. Laughing when daddy tickles you when he swaddles you at night and when mommy changes your clothes and makes funny faces. You have developed a sense of humor and it's fantastic. Flirting with everybody. Grabbing mommy’s food and glass. Sitting up in the booster seat playing with the activity center. Everyone says that you are such a happy baby and I agree. It’s a good thing or I wouldn’t be able to take you to meetings at work with me-we did 5 hours this week alone (are you destined for the corperate world? You already know how to sleep through meetings!) I love being with you and finally feel like I’m able to balance life again. Oh, and we started going to the MOMS stroller class which you like now that I got a stroller where you can see me! It’s good to meet other moms and get some exercise. Those classes are brutal (or I’m really soft, one). I can't believe you are already 15 1/2 lbs and 27 1/2 inches. Wow, what happened to the 7 1/2, 19 1/2 inch newborn I had? I was scrapbooking your newborn pictures the other day and am amazed at how small you were. Wow.
